Our Vission

ICEP wants to build a society where peace, justice and inclusion are present with love, respect and understanding among all communities and faiths. Our main aim is to be the top education platform in Pakistan and worldwide, by encouraging new educational ideas and supporting cooperation between communities through dialogue, research and reform. We want to create individuals who take ownership and lead, using diversity as a foundation to achieve equality and sustain a peaceful world.

Our Objectives

ICEP focuses on reaching several aims to support sustainable peace and inclusive education in Pakistan and the surrounding area. The range of these objectives includes various programs, policies and ground-level efforts that address why sectarianism, extremism, inequity in education and intercommunal tensions exist.

• ICEP’s main purpose is to encourage communities to live harmoniously. By continuing to engage in inclusive talks, we bring different groups closer together. ICEP helps to grow trust, mutual respect and cooperation among different communities through its forums, roundtables and cultural exchange activities. These talks are built on research and policies meant to help overcome sectarian conflicts and uphold common ethical ideas that are found in many religions.
• ICEP contributes greatly to improvements in society and religion, as well as in building peace. We arrange and run seminars and conferences throughout the country, targeting pluralism, peaceful values in Islam and respect for human dignity. As a result of our interfaith symposia and intra-faith mediation sessions, people become less negative towards each other and learn to appreciate what makes them different. Besides activities, the community adds new insights with books, reviewed scientific articles and various media on peace education, theology and how to live together.
• ICEP acts as a think-tank by developing research and practical actions to help transform Pakistan’s education system. The firm creates research-backed proposals, writes detailed white papers and takes part in discussions with education ministries, school boards and private institutions. Beyond other duties, we back research programs, assemble academic networks and host policy retreats with important individuals in the country to guarantee education supports inclusion and peace.
• Working on schools and curriculum is a main priority for us. We join hands with public, private and religious educational institutions to discover and reform parts of the curriculum that contain prejudice, bias or biased views. Our trained consultants offer workshops to teachers, leaders and curriculum designers to integrate the values of empathy, peace, human rights and civic responsibility into educational resources and teaching techniques. In addition, we offer tools that help students develop in every way and think about good conduct.
• It offers a range of programs that turn what is studied into actual results. Our group offers an easy-to-use way for religious scholars, youth leaders and academics to share thoughts on faith, peacefully living with others and citizenship. Either in big cities or more remote areas such events are about living together peacefully. At the same time, our educational workshops help educators and youth leaders increase their skills in peace education, emotional intelligence and handling conflicts.
• Through articles and publications, ICEP presents a leading perspective on issues related to religious reform, extremism, educational policy and spiritual ethics. Academics, policymakers and practitioners can use our monographs and journals to learn about peaceful and educational developments in South Asia. We additionally help set up youth research fellowships that share fresh, relevant ideas about community strength and educational shortcomings.
• ICEP gets involved in both policy development and advising activities. Ministries, international organizations and groups from civil society are among our partners as we work to develop and carry out school policies for peace and development. Some of its activities involve involvement in consultations for laws, work to support the National Curriculum Council and supplying expert briefings on religious tolerance, educational standards and cultural inclusion.

The purpose of all these integrated objectives is to help turn peace from a concept into an everyday reality in Pakistan.
